Synopsis:
An eccentric 40 year old Japanese man who lives alone in a rundown house is followed around by a documentary crew that films his mundane life, but why? By day he is just an average guy, but by night he transforms into a giant, about 30 meters tall, and defends Japan by battling similarly sized monsters that turn up and destroy buildings. His battles are broadcast late at night to diminishing ratings. He has become the scapegoat of New Japan, whose citizens bitterly complain about the noise and property destruction he causes.
