Synopsis:
Set in the 18th century, this romp stars distinguished French actor Jean Franval as Black Jack, a giant highwayman rescued from the gallows by a young draper’s apprentice. The two rescue a young girl from an asylum, with whom the draper's apprentice falls in love. Her parents offer a reward for the girl’s return under the influence of the evil local doctor and parson. When Black Jack shows more than a passing interest in the reward money offered, the young boy and his love run away to join a traveling circus…
